View of the Grand Market in Bordeaux, with its arcades and tiled roof, at the beginning of the 20th century. Two women walk under umbrellas on the paved street. In the foreground, a sign advertising Liebig's Tea Extract. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Louis Duref in Sainte-Émeline, with a 1904 postmark and a cancellation stamp from Bordeaux-les-Chartrons.
