Black and white view of the Girondins Monument in Bordeaux, with a statue of an angel at the top of an ornate pillar, surrounded by trees and buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten correspondence dated 1951, addressed to Jean Genusty in Jugisy-l'Orge, with an 8 franc postage stamp and a Bordeaux cancellation. The publisher is indicated as 'Éditions Tito'.
