Description

View of the Monument of the Girondins in Bordeaux, a commemorative monument erected in honor of the Girondins. The front presents an illustration of the monument with an angel statue at the top and buildings in the background. The back contains a handwritten letter dated in the 18th century, explaining the allegories of the monument, and a signature of J. Banault. A 15-centime postmark is affixed at the top left.
