View of the Monument of the Girondins in Bordeaux, with an angel statue at the top of an ornate pillar and sculptures at the base, surrounded by pedestrians. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to M. A. Wlam in Rennes, with a French Republic postage stamp and a cancellation from Bordeaux dated August 18, 1918.
