View of the Monument des Girondins in Bordeaux, with a statue of an angel at the top of a monumental pillar, surrounded by trees and lampposts, against a backdrop of urban rooftops. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. G. Leriche in Paris, with a 10-centime French postage stamp canceled 'CALAI' and a note stating 'All foreign countries do not accept correspondence on the front side'.
