Description

Sculptural detail of the Monument des Girondins in Bordeaux, showing a seated figure on a pedestal surrounded by sculpted horses and figures. A French 10-centime postage stamp is affixed at the top left. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 21-10-15 is addressed to Madame Jane in Lyon, with cursive handwriting and a mention of 'Phoéne' at the bottom right.
