Description

View of the Porte Cailhau in Bordeaux, a Gothic fortified gate with conical turrets and an ornate archivolt, framed by urban buildings and a paved street with a few vehicles. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Helène Pombin in Paris (Cerces), with a 30-centime French postage stamp and a postmark from Bordeaux dated 16 January 1908.
