Black-and-white view of a turbulent river, the Thaurion, surrounded by rocks and dense vegetation. Printed text at the bottom: 'The Pictoresque Creuse 1024. The Banks of the Thaurion between Vallières and Royère'. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Madame M. Kocher in Bourbouf (Sèvres) and a marginal writing 'Madame Kocher, 62, Rue de Thasbourg, Bourbouf (Sèvres)'. A violet 20-centime stamp, canceled.
