View of the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer with the destroyer « Durandal » in the foreground, among several other ships. Printed red text announces fast services between London and Paris via Folkestone and Boulogne, with train schedules and fares. On the reverse, two French stamps (25c blue and 15c red) are applied, with a circular cancellation of 'BAS-DE-GALLES' dated January 24, 1927. The address is handwritten for 'Mesdames Schmit, 36 rue Pierre Goigneaum, Paris Colombes (Seine)' and the message reads: 'Chères Amies, je serais demain soir parmis vous pour dîner. Demain. Bons baisers, Raymonde.'
