Black and white view of the nave of Bourges Cathedral, showing its high Gothic vaults, massive pillars and suspended chandeliers. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 16 October 1947, sent from Bourges to Croydon (England), with a 4.50 franc stamp and a postmark from Bourges.
