Description

Black and white view of the Gothic facade of the cathedral in Bourges, with its imposing bell tower and ornate portal, viewed from a narrow street lined with trees and buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Ma Chère Petite Véronique' in Paris, with a 40-centime violet stamp and a Bourges cancellation dated June 24, 1936.
