View of Place Gordaine in Bourges, showing timber-framed old houses and a building with the sign 'COMPTOIR NATIONAL'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated March 8, 1918, addressed to 'My dear Lucienne' in Bourges, with a mention of the post office in Grasse. The reverse also bears the inscription 'Carte Postale' and a note on foreign correspondence.
