The reverse has a handwritten letter dated August 21, 1923, sent to 'My Dear Parents' by a traveler who arrived in Coblenz, mentioning the visit to 'Burg Blitz an der Mosel' and the train journey to Toulouse. The postmark and cancellation are visible at the bottom right.
