BREST. — La Rue de Siam.' and a handwritten inscription at the bottom: 'Hello to Nabaudel, from me and to you a cordiality, your friend Phasteberg'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated April 3, 1906, addressed to Mr. E. Blondel, mechanic at 'Brest', Atlantic Naval Division, with note 'Some foreign countries do not accept correspondence from this side (check with the post office)'.
