Scene of the pig market in Fougères, Brittany, with pigs and men in period clothing in front of a fortified castle. Printed text: « BRETAGNE (Collection E.H.) » and « 360. - FOUGÈRES. - The Pig Market ». On the reverse, a 8-cent postage stamp, postmark from Fougères dated 18 July 1906, and handwritten address to « Maison Gaffet » in Sainte-Enimie.
