Description

View of the Asfeld Bridge, a 120-foot stone arch, built under Louis XV in 1733 on order of Marshal d'Asfeld. Printed text on the front mentions the dimensions and the publisher. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 1911 addressed to Mrs. and Mr. Tielermann in Molsheim (Alsace), with a 10-centime postage stamp and cancellation 'HAUTS ALPES'.
