Description

Black and white view of the triple enceinte fortified walls of Briançon, with stair-step buildings on a mountain side and a tower in the background. The back features handwritten text dated July 28, 1911, addressed to 'Dear Uncle', mentioning health news and travel plans to Lisbon. The stamp and postmark are visible at the top right.
