Black and white view of a narrow path winding through a rocky canyon between two steep cliffs, with a wooden railing. Printed text at the bottom: '1683. - BRIDES-les-BAINS The Gorge of the Pigeons'. On the reverse, handwritten address to Madame Mademoiselle Monsieur Thomas Hébiller, 5 Rue Darwin, Paris, with a blue 25-centime postmark and a cancellation stamp from Calvière (Savoie).
