View of Brienne-le-Château castle, built between 1770 and 1778 by architect J.-L. Fontaine, nicknamed « Versailles of the Aube », showing traces of devastation by the Allies in 1814. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 1920, sent from Brienne-le-Château to Rouvilliers, with two 10-centime stamps and a postmark from Jurnoy/Sorge.
