View of the Sarthe River with a religious building in the background, accompanied by historical text on the arrival of the Normans in 866. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 1907, addressed to M. Chretien et Fils, with the sender's signature. Publisher indicated at the bottom of the reverse.
