View of the Devil's Pulpit on the summit of Brocken (1142 m), with the hotel and a tower in the background. The reverse features an inscription by the publisher 'Ferling und Schade, Brocken' and a handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Löwiger, Düringhof 25'. Two postmarks are applied, including a circular postmark from Brocken dated 12.8.1916.
