View of the Grand'Place in Brussels, northeast side, highlighting the King's House with its Gothic facades and gabled roof. In the foreground, vendors and old vehicles occupy the public space. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 10 September 1949, sent to Madame H. Heurion in Courcy, France, with a 1 franc Belgian stamp and a Brussels cancellation.
