Black and white view of a Bruges canal lined with tiled-roof houses and tall trees, with two swans swimming in the center. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Madame Caumont' in Bolbec (Seine-Maritime, France), dated September 20, 1956, sent from Bruges (Groene Reel, Quai Vert). The 2.50 franc Belgian stamp is canceled in Brussels.
