View of Saint-George Square in Bucharest, with a monumental statue in the foreground and a bell-towered building in the background. Buildings line the square, one bearing the sign 'N.S. DRAGHIESCU' and another 'DROCUJERI'. Pedestrians and a horse-drawn carriage cross the paved square. The back indicates the publisher 'Editura Ad. Mater. & D. Stern' and a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Deman in Courcising, France, with a stamp and a Bucharest cancellation dated August 25, 1908.
