Description

Painted view of a village at the foot of a fortress castle on a rocky hill, with a church with a spired steeple and the Rhine below under a cloudy sky. On the reverse, printed text in German states that the fortress was built in 1357 by Bishop Bohemund of Trier and is still partially inhabited. The publisher is HH, serial number 130.
