Description

Entrance to the Buzancy castle with two stone lions on pillars, each weighing 3,500 kg, sent as a gift by Stanislas Lockenski, King of Poland, father-in-law of Louis XV. Printed text on the front details their origin and the number of horses required to transport them. Back: handwritten address to Madame Louranis, head goat of the liqueur, in Bolivier, Paris, with a green 5 franc stamp and a postmark from Buzancy.
