View of the Hôtel-Dieu in Caen, with its imposing building and central tower, surrounded by a courtyard where cows are grazing. On the reverse, a postcard dated 26 September 1914, sent to Mr. and Mrs. Adams in Châussures (Calvados), with a Caen postmark and a signature from Henriette. Green 5-centime stamp of the French Republic.
