View of the castle in Caen, highlighting the Gate of Rescue with its imposing round tower and arched passage. A man in period costume stands on a bridge leading to the entrance. On the back, a postcard sent to Madame Pétrelaide in Versailles, with a red 10-centime stamp and a cancellation mark from Vados (Seyne) dated April 28, 1906. The handwritten message mentions a request to remove cars at the station.
