View of Caen Castle, highlighting the gate called Secours, a round stone tower with conical roof and a red banner. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. F. Besnier in Le Havre, dated October 1st, 1918, with a postmark from Saint-Lô (Calvados).
