View of the greenhouses of the Jardin des Plantes in Caen, with a central building with a classical façade and glass greenhouses in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. L. Bannier in Saint-Étienne, mentioning 'Dinner in Caen' and 'Let's return tomorrow'. Two green 5-centime stamps are affixed at the top right, canceled in Caen on April 15, 1904.
