View of a paved street in Caen with a timber-framed house dating from the 14th century in the foreground, and a church with a pointed spire in the background. The reverse indicates the address of Madame C. Velievre in Dreux, with a postmark from Dreux dated 10 July 1907. The front bears a 5 centime blue stamp and a postmark from Caen dated 10 May 1905.
