View of the Guard Tower dated 1214, serving as a residence and observatory, and the Old City Hall rebuilt in 1740, with its bell tower crowned by a spire. Printed text refers to the bells and the air of Flanders. Reverse: postcard dated August 26, 1904, sent from Calais to Suresnes (Seine), with a postage stamp and a Calais postmark.
