Description

Engraved portrait of General Cambronne, with printed text describing his military biography: born in Saint-Sébastien, colonel at Quiberon, wounded at Wagram, prisoner at Waterloo, appointed governor of Lille, acquitted in 1822, died in Nantes in 1842. Reverse: postcard with warning text on the front, partially visible postmark, and several pink color spots.
