Description

Black and white view of a two-story colonial building with a balcony, in front of which stands a tall palm tree. The word 'GOVERNMENT' is inscribed on the façade. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Petite Paulette Chérie' mentions the heat in Douala, the date of 12th, and the intention to leave for France in 12 days. The photo is signed 'Photo G. PRUNET, n° 469, DOUALA' and bears the inscription 'Reproduction interdite'.
