View of the church of Trouan-le-Grand, dated to the 12th century, with its bell tower and Gothic windows, surrounded by crosses and tombs. Reverse: 5c green stamp, dispatch postmark from Camp de Mailly (Aube) dated August 1, 1918, handwritten address to Monsieur Barnet in Sompuis (Marne), and note 'Thank you for your kind hospitality'.
