Black and white panoramic view of Cannes port with the Suquet in the background, the Martinez Hotel building visible on the left. On the reverse, a postcard dated 1953, stamped with 15 centimes, featuring a handwritten inscription addressed to Édouard Chaban in Cagnes-sur-Mer, and a postmark 'FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL FILM AMATEUR DEBUT SEPTEMBRE'.
