Black and white view of the port of Cannes at dusk, with many moored boats and city buildings in the background. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated August 18, 1848, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. A. Tachène in Port-Marly, with a postage stamp and a postmark from Cannes.
