Colorized view of the Promenade de la Croisette in Cannes, with the Carlton Hotel in the background and pedestrians on the palm-lined path. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 17 August 1914, sent to Madame Blot in Paris, with two postage stamps of 5 and 15 centimes.
