Black and white view of the Promenade de la Croisette in Cannes, with ornate columns and palm trees in the background. Printed text in English and French. Reverse: handwritten letter dated March 26, 1939, addressed to a Madame in Marseille, describing a pleasant stay in Cannes and the Promenade de la Croisette. Blue 30-cent postage stamp of the French Republic, canceled.
