Aerial view of Cannes from the Pézon Observatory, showing the gently sloping city by the sea with mountains in the background. The reverse has a handwritten correspondence dated February 23, 1916, addressed to Clément Gautthier at the Convalescents' Hospital in Thugouleine, with a postmark 'HOPITAL TEMPORAIRE CANNES' and a note 'CORRESPONDANCE'.
