Panoramic view of the medieval city of Carcassonne with its ramparts and towers, dominated by the Two Bridges spanning the river. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Mrs. Marie Herbelin in Sauve, dated November 30, 1929, accompanied by a 40-cent postage stamp and a Carcassonne cancellation.
