Description

Black and white view of the Tower of the Inquisition in Carcassonne, showing its stone walls and towers. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 19 July 1934, with a 40-centime postage stamp and an arrival postmark from Carcassonne. Printed text at the bottom of the reverse states that the tower, located on three floors, was built in the 13th century.
