Colored view of the medieval Carnarvon Castle, with its imposing towers reflected in the calm water of a harbor where boats are navigating. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated July 17, 1947, sent from Llandudno (Caernarvonshire) to Paris, with a British 2 pence stamp and a circular postmark.
