Postcard showing a character dressed as Gargantua, king of the Toulon carnival in 1908, with a 5-centime green postage stamp and a 'SUR MER VAR' postal mark. The reverse has a handwritten address to Saint-Patrière, Montfiquet, with a Calvi (Alpes-Maritimes) postmark dated July 31, 1908.
