Engraved portrait of Jean-Baptiste Carrière, born in Yolet (Cantal) in 1756, Prosecutor in Aurillac and later Deputy to the Convention in 1792. Printed text describes him as having made prisoners swim on the Loire and having been condemned to death in Nantes on December 16, 1794. Back: blank postcard with instructions in French on international correspondence.
