Black and white view of an imposing rock of Macaud emerging from a bay, with the inscriptions 'MACAUD' engraved on its face. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 18 May 1952, sent from Cassis (B. du Rhône) to Madame Beutter in Lyon, with a 12 centimes stamp and a circular postmark from Cassis.
