Colored view of a canyon with a river in the foreground and a railway winding along a rocky spur. Printed text at the top: '1394. Castle Bluff on the Deschutes River, Oregon. ON THE LINE OF THE O. W. R. & N. CO.'. On the reverse, a 2-cent American postmark, cancellation stamp from Detroit (Michigan) dated June 2, 1913, and a transit stamp from Paris (France) dated August 21, 1913. Handwritten correspondence addressed to D. DeLorette in Paris, with writing in French.
