Sepia-toned view of the quays and washhouses of Castres, with an arched bridge in the foreground and buildings along the Tarn. Printed text at the top and bottom. Reverse: handwritten letter dated June 29, 1920, addressed to 'Dear Édouard', signed 'G. Pétot, mayor', with postmark 'P. 8612' and cancellation 'CASTRES'.
