Black and white view of the Cathedral of Bourges, seen from a narrow street lined with houses with shutters. The printed text at the bottom reads 'CATHEDRALE DE BOURGES'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 14, 1919, addressed to 'Dear Couture' in Corbeil, mentions a permission and a waiting period for demobilization. The publisher is 'Augustin Phot.' with number 6 visible at the bottom left.
