Statue of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary within the Cathedral of Chartres, surrounded by sculpted angels and clouds, in front of a Gothic stained-glass window. Printed text at the bottom: 'CATHEDRAL OF CHARTRES. BRIDAN. — The Assumption.' The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Mme de Levent-Dorny in Bar-le-Duc, with a stamp and postmark from Château-Gaillard (Loiret) dated August 9, 1918.
